Aims and Values

At Wistaston Church Lane, we are very proud of our values. We understand that challenge, self-awareness, creativity and community underpin effective learning and life skills in school and beyond. Our intent is to instil these values and embed them into our curriculum and school ethos. Children will leave Wistaston Church Lane as self-aware and creative challenge seekers with an excellent community spirit.

We implement our values using a whole school approach. Values are to be embedded throughout school, on displays, during assemblies, in parent communication and in lessons. Each lesson refers to at least one value and the children are made aware of which value is being developed or they are given the opportunity to identify it.

In doing this, we will be impacting our pupil’s lives by setting them up with important life skills and ones that are desired for future employment.
