During our Maths lessons this half term we will be looking at numbers to 50, place value and addition and subtraction. We will begin to use our addition and subtraction skills through our topic on money.

Famous People

During topic lessons we will be looking at 'Famous People'. We will learn facts about Famous People in the past such as Florence Nightingale, Neil Armstrong and Nelson Mandela. We will use our new knowledge to complete a wide range of tasks including extended writing pieces. We will explore the impact these people had on our lives today and look at the differences between the lives of Famous people in the past and the present day.

2B have PE on Monday and Friday.

2S have PE on Monday and Wednesday.

On these days we ask that children come to school in their PE clothes rather than their school uniform.

Weather dependant they can wear their shorts and school coloured PE T- shirt and House PE sweatshirt. If the weather is cold, then track suit bottoms/leggings would be more suitable. Trainers are preferable to pumps as it is possible the children may be outdoors for some lessons.

Long Term Plan

Remote Learning

In the instance that your child is required to remain off school as a result of self-isolating, here is an overview of the learning taking place in class each day.

There are links to useful resources and games that can be clicked to enable children to access their learning at home.
